In an extraordinary scene that played out before, during and after Sunday night’s Presidential debate in St. Louis, Donald Trump appeared with three women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexually assaulting them, as Trump had the women as guests inside the debate hall, and then as his surrogates in the spin room afterwards.

Trump wrote on his Facebook page, “Join me in St. Louis, Missouri – as I conclude my debate prep,” but it was anything but that, as reporters were ushered in.

Sitting with Trump were Juanita Broaddrick, who has charged that Bill Clinton raped her in the late 1970’s when he was the Attorney General of Arkansas;

Also there, Kathleen Willey, who said she was sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton when he was President;

And Paula Jones, whose lawsuit against Clinton led to his impeachment by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Also there was Kathy Shelton, who after she was raped when she was 12 years old, said that Hillary Clinton – who was the man’s defense attorney – was able to help her client beat that rap.

Trump told a pool of reporters that the women had “asked to be here, and it was our honor to help them.”

At the end of the event, reporters tried to ask Trump about his past statements on a tape that surfaced Friday, but Paula Jones interrupted and shouted at the media.

“Why don’t you all ask Bill Clinton that?” as Trump staff responded with applause as the media was ushered out of the room.

Clinton’s team responded quickly with a statement:

During the debate, Trump brought up Bill Clinton, saying “there has never been anyone in the history of politics who has been so abusive to women.”

Willey, Broaddrick and Jones all went to the Spin Room afterwards as well to make the case for Trump.
